DJ Junior Molina is one of the most accomplished DJs in the NYC area. Junior began his professional career at the age of 16 in Club Jeans in San Juan Puerto Rico. He established his first mobile DJ company "All Night Disco" and continued to work at the club during the weeknights. Junior was invited to audition as a lightman/DJ at Puerto Rico's legendary Club Bachelor. Under the tutelage of Remixer and Producer Pablo Flores, Junior learned the finer points of professional DJing. During the next 3 years, Junior held a residency at Bachelor and appeared as guest DJ at Puerto Rico's Hottest nightclubs including Neons, Stop 22, Crash, Laser, The World Upsidedown. His residencies and guest appearances would sometimes have him working 7 nights a week. In 1990 Junior moved to NYC where he graduated from the Institute of Audio Research. With the help of friends he established Soundwaves Professional Disc Jockeys.. Since then, he has been entertaining crowds non stop. He has played in some of New York's best clubs including the legendary Palladium and Club Carbon. He held residencies at Metropolis and Club Rhumba among other clubs. Sound Waves continues to thrive providing top notch entertainment for hundreds of sweet 16's and weddings and private events. He has recently partnered up with Divine Sounds Unlimited expanding the entertainment options available to his clients. DJ Tutu has also joined the Soundaves family. Tutu is a second generation DJ who's energy is second to none. His Hip Hop and party remixes entertain the most demanding crowds. With this valuable addition there is no doubt that Soundwaves will contunue to grow and evolve.
