I'm currently a housewife due to health issues that led to 2 surgeries in the last 2 years. I'm lucky enough to do this because my husband is a Ph.D. Chemist & his pay is enough to allow me. It helps me heal, set my own schedule, get my house cleaned (when I'm able), etc. I have a wicked sense of humor--punning was a common family entertainment at the dinner table!
I am Here for:
Making friends, discussing mutual interests & ideas, learning new things, and expanding my experience of life & all its aspects. My favorite saying is "Why be NORMAL? This Life's too SHORT, so ABNORMAL makes it more FUN!"

I'm an Addicted Knitter & Cross-Stitcher. I LOVE Watching NASCAR. I'm a Green Bay Packer Fan by Birth, a Pittsburgh Steelers fan by Choice. I like to play RPG's--Role Playing Games (D&D & Online) & have since I met hubby 17 years & counting ago. Learning to grow herbs, flowers, & other plants.

ALL Iterations of Star Trek--It's in my blood due to dad's influence. House, Dog the Bounty Hunter (hate the politics, love the stories of how the criminals got into their situations), Fringe, Bones, Cities of the Underworld, Anything w/Gordon Ramsay, Good Eats, Metalocalypse, Hell Girl, Scrubs, Criminal Minds, & occasionally What Not to Wear on TLC.

All Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter Series, Anything by Marion Zimmer Bradley, Most of Anne McCaffrey's series's, Angela Knight's Mageverse, Christine Feehan's Dark Series, Basic Buddhist literature, some Christian writings (i'm SLOWLY getting back into it--don't preach to me on this, I'm still re-solidifying my faith), some biographies, Laurell K. Hamilton's Merry Gentry Series, & many other things I can't recall at the moment.
I Love:
People-My husband, my pets--3 cats, 1 wolf/dog hybrid, my fish, my parents, my sister & her husband, my nephews, my close friends kids, & ESPECIALLY my friends. I *ADORE* chocolate! I love good conversation, cuddling, setting up, &/or making, & shooting off FIREWORKS (done shows for small towns & private family parties). Learning new things. Collecting Fairy & Wolf Stuff. I *ADORE* Mint M&M's--I stock up (read: HORDE) during Christmas.
I Hate:
Sharks of ANY kind, people who think their way is the ONLY way, Horror movies--the gory 1's, stupid sitcoms-ex. Seinfeld, Everyone Loves Raymond, Jackass. Also hate doing dishes BY HAND, but I *HAVE* a dishwasher now!!weeeeee!
