About Me
America has supported the overthrow of foreign governments for many reasons. We have claimed to civilize others, Christianize them, protect them, and liberate them. We have also ousted presidents and prime ministers to guard economic interests including those of corporations like ITT. Furthermore, controlling another country's natural resources especially when they had the impudence to try to nationalize them for their own citizens, maintain and spread our power, and combat enemy ideologies. We have employed Machiavellian means to accomplish regime change, including bold lies, doing the exact opposite of what we promised, ignoring international law, media censorship, terror, torture, rape, funneling hundreds of millions of dollars to rebel causes, and propaganda. Though Saddam Hussein distinguished himself as one of history's most ruthless dictators, countless Americans expressed shocked that the United States preemptively invaded a sovereign nation to depose a head of state. I know that I did. According to Kinzer, there was nothing unusual about American regime overthrow also known as Coup de' etat. Only historical ignorance, amnesia, or patriotic inexperience could allow someone like me to enjoy such a pleasant allegory. In light of this fact, these are my words and IDONT GIVE A RATS ASS IF U DONT LIKE IT. I have the liberty to speak my mind so FUCK THE HATERS. I suggest letting me know when you finish reading your constitutional rights. With that said, I will end it with this... It may provide some insight as to why many in the global community dislike the United States and why terrorism continues to be a large threat today. The United States has not lost a war where our American way of life and homeland soil was threatened or lost. The positive from this is that Americans can enjoy a high quality of life relative to other parts of the world. The negative, however, is that we are unintentionally arrogant in spreading the “American” gospel. As such, the United States must develop better relations with others in the future as the next threat to the United States are the rising economic powers in Asia such as China, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and so on. A powerful military will not be able to effectively neutralize this next threat.

Heres my 411... Since many people on here like to discuss about themselves, I will discuss issues that I am deeply concerned about and so please be patient..... In the post-9/11 world, I do believe that we need to spell out clearly the convictions that underlie the vision of American leadership. In other words, the Bush administration's failed policies in the international community has given us the opportunity to rebuild strategic alliances around the world. If, President Barack Obama recapture's the spirit of tough liberalism carried out by the previous leaders such as President Harry S. Truman and John F. Kennedy, then we can keep the U.S. forces strong in defending [D]emocratic societies against those who oppose. During Mr. Obama and Senator John McCain's second debate (fall of '08 campaign), President Obama cited examples of Rwanda and Darfur in highlighting the issues that entails high human costs and moral injustice. Obama states: "So When genocide is happening, when ethnic cleansing is happening around the world and we stand idly by, that diminishes us." Today, we can all agree that no nation is strong enough to go on its own. We must now focus our interests literally everywhere so that we may strengthen the community of [D]emocracies internationally. More importantly, we will need the compliance of other countries to help relieve the global issues we face today. These global issues include our addiction to oil, the financial crisis, poverty, terrorism, climate change and other pandemics. The heart of the matter lies in the benefits of [H]onor and [R]espect.
