NORML SHOW LIVE is your source for the latest in marijuana law reform news from NORML, the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws. Your host, NORML Outreach Coordinator Russ Belville brings you news, interviews, music, comedy, and analysis you can't get anywhere else in a weekday talk radio program. Our show begins every Monday through Friday at Noon Pacific / 3pm Eastern with one hour of live chat and random tunes while we prepare the show. The talk radio portion starts at 1pm Pacific / 4pm Eastern for one hour. Then at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern we give you another hour of chat and tunes while we compress and upload the talk radio podcast to http://stash.norml.org. To access chat, send a friend request and once you've been accepted, you can join the mature, responsible adults in our chat room.
Mondays we bring you your Government at Work (interviews with activists and politicians working to change marijuana laws) or Behind the Headlines with NORML's Paul Armentano bringing you the factual research that's ignored in the mainstream media.
Tuesdays we get our California Marijuana Report with Eric Brenner interviewing the important people in the cannabis community at the epicenter of American pot culture.
Wednesdays we have our regular dose of Cannabis Science with Dr. Mitch Earleywine answering your live questions about the the history, culture, science, and medicine of marijuana.
Thursdays we take a look at the Southern California Scene with Tere Joyce and friends who run dispensaries and the fight for legalization or we speak with another member of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition who thinks marijuana should be legal.
Fridays we have our CelebStoner Entertainment Report with Steve Bloom for for the latest on cannabis in movies, music, TV, and sports or we visit with editors at High Times Magazine to preview the next issue (2nd Fridays) or answer cultivation questions from the live chat (4th Fridays).
Plus at :20 after the hour, you'll get your Daily Toker Tunes, the best of independent podsafe music from 420-friendly artists. We cover all genres and bring them to you on Roots Monday (Blues / Country / Folk / Jazz), Electric Tuesday (Dance / New Age / House / Electronica), Irie Wednesday (Reggae / Ska / Calypso / Latin), Groovin’ Thursday (Rap / Hip-Hop / R&B / Funk), and Rockin' Friday (Rock / Metal / Punk / Jam).
