I used to have like 3 of them and I would take care of it until i went to sleep then put it in my drawer until morning and then i would take care of it. It never died at night.

I had something like that I think. but I sucked at it. Mine kept dying so I had to keep reseting. But I found out that letting it be tortured was strangely enjoyable for me. So I just let them die.
