My name is David von Struve. I'm 24 years old and live in a fairly large town in the county of Wiltshire, England.I am currently working as an Administrative Assistant for the National Trust, which sounds very boring indeed but is actually a very challenging and varied role.

One of my passions in life is drawing. I try to go out into the beautiful countryside that surrounds me and draw pretty much anything I take a fancy to, whether it be an oddly shaped tree or a hare or bird of prey. I am trying more...to teach myself how to draw the human figure correctly - which is turning out to be a lot harder than I first though!

I also like to read. I will often sit for hours at a time immersing myself in a good action or horror or crime novel. Sometimes I get so engrossed that people can be talking to me and I won't hear a word that is said! I have recently started to dabble in the art of writing, in the hopes that one day I will produce something of good enough calibre that can be published for the world to see. You never know, I may use this site to self-publish some of the short stories that are always popping into my head! :)

My main other interest is gardening, although you would never believe it if you saw the state my garden is in at the moment! Unfortunately time and money shortages have meant it has gone neglected for far too long. Mind you, it has attracted a lot more wildlife since I stopped mowing the lawn such as hedgehogs, various kinds of butterflys, loads of small birds and even the occasional grasshopper or two! I may keep it as a wild garden, but just tidy up the edges a bit to make it look as if I meant it to be that way!
